Dusan Tadic has admitted he can give 'no guarantee' over his Southampton future as speculation continues that his time at St Mary's may be nearing its end.

Reports have suggested that the Serb was considering his options having been in and out of the side this season after making a big impression during his first year on the south coast.

Tadic told The Southern Daily Echo : "Everything is okay, I like Southampton, I have great communication with the fans and that's it. We will see at the end of the season what's going to happen. You never know in football.

"You never can guarantee some things because I have two years contract after the summer and, you never know, not just for me, but for every player. Football is like that you know, one day you are there, one day somewhere else.

"I like to be important for the team. That's it, to try and help my team Southampton to give fans pleasure to enjoy. I try to be professional and do my best and that's it."

Tadic has not given up on a top six finish for the Saints despite the 1-0 defeat at Leicester leaving them four points behind sixth-placed West Ham.
