Stoke City are in advanced talks with Galatasaray over the £15million purchase of Senegal midfielder Badou Ndiaye, Sky Sports News has been told.
Galatasaray are prepared to let Ndiaye go for the right price - though it seems the terms they are demanding have altered on more than one occasion.
We understand negotiations last night have moved the deal closer.
Stoke want the deal completed quickly because they need to begin work permit proceedings as soon as possible if they are to conclude the deal before Wednesday night's transfer deadline.
The club will not sanction a deal and pay any money until they are sure the player will get international clearance to play in the Premier League.
The next 24 hours will be crucial in deciding whether the transfer happens.
The 27-year-old has reportedly stated he wants to join Stoke and has taken links to the Istanbul club off his Instagram account and was dropped from the team on Saturday.
