Marco Matias opened his account for Sheffield Wednesday in stunning style as he netted a brilliant volley against Leeds United.
The 26-year-old, who signed for Wednesday in the summer, flicked the ball over a defender's head before finishing superbly off the underside of the bar to put his side ahead in Saturday lunchtime's Sky Bet Championship encounter at Elland Road.
Matias is a former Portugal Under-21 international and was snapped up on a four-year deal by the Owls' new Portuguese manager Carlos Carvalhal from Nacional.
