Cardiff City fixtures: Sky Bet Championship 2017/18

Neil Warnock celebrates Cardiff's win

Cardiff's bid to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2014 begins with a trip to Burton Albion on August 5.

Neil Warnock's side will be optimistic of a good start, with their first five games coming against teams from the bottom half of last season's table or, in the case of Sheffield United, last term's League One.

September could prove a stern test, with games against Fulham, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland, Leeds and Derby all standing out.

Severnside derbies against Bristol City come on November 4 (away) and February 24 (home), with the campaign finishing against Reading at the Cardiff City Stadium on May 6.
