Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew says Yohan Cabaye is '50-50' to feature at Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

The 29-year-old midfielder was forced to sit out the 2-1 win at Stoke last weekend after he failed a fitness test, having picked up a heel injury.

And Pardew said at his pre-match press conference on Thursday that the influential French international was touch-and-go to return at Dean Court.

Asked who would be fit for the weekend, Pardew said: "(Bakary) Sako and (Dwight) Gayle, no. Cabaye I think has got a chance - 50-50 - and (Mile) Jedinak is in the group."

He added: "We've got additional ones (injuries) that I'm going to keep in-house for now, but we need to assess them going forward.

"The only reason I am not disclosing more is because we don't know the extent of them at the moment.

"We've got two games in quick succession, so it is about the squad.

"We go to Bournemouth in great spirit."

Glenn Murray has scored some key goals for Palace in recent years but he will be in the opposition at the weekend, having left for Bournemouth in the autumn.

And Pardew said: "Glenn's got his name up amongst the best players at this club, in terms of what he did here, but it was the right time for him to go.

"I think he'll start this game and he'll have extra motivation, because he knows us.

"We'll give him the total respect he deserves."
