Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak could be facing a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Jedinak came off early in the second half of Palace's 4-1 Capital One Cup win over Shrewsbury Town and coach Alan Pardew feared his midfielder captain could be sidelined for some time.
"I'm a little bit worried about the skipper, he might have done a hamstring, but we'll have to wait and see," Pardew said.
"We think he might have done something a little bit long-term, but we'll have to assess him in the morning."
Jedinak's injury puts his participation for Australia in their World Cup qualifiers against Bangladesh on September 3 and Tajikistan on September 8 in question.
Palace also have concerns over Dwight Gayle and Wilfried Zaha after the extra-time win but Pardew says neither is a major injury worry.
He added: "Dwight Gayle came off just as a precaution because he was cramping up, and Wilfried Zaha the same. S those two will be okay for the weekend."
