Ipswich Town begin their 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship season by entertaining Barnsley at Portman Road on Saturday August 6.

Mick McCarthy's side host Norwich City in the first East Anglian derby of the campaign on August 20, and travel to Carrow Road for the reverse fixture on February 25.

Ipswich play Newcastle United at St James' Park on October 22, before home games with Fulham and Bristol City on Boxing Day and New Year's Eve respectively.

And finally the Tractor Boys end their campaign by entertaining Sheffield Wednesday - who lost last season's play-off final - on April 29 before a final-day clash at Nottingham Forest on May 7.
