Ipswich have signed Kevin Bru on a one-year deal to bolster their options in midfield ahead of the new season.

The 25-year-old is the latest signing for Town, following the captureg of Hungarian Balint Bajner on Wednesday.

Bru featured last season in Bulgaria for Levski Sofia but has played the majority of his football in France, turning out for the likes of Rennes, Clermont Foot and Dijon FC, and has also been capped at international level by Mauritius, despite also earning two caps for the French U19 side.

Bru, whose deal has the option of a second year, told the club's official website: "I feel really good, having signed for Ipswich.

"I have been here on trial for two weeks and I have been happy with the way my football has gone.

"I have followed English football for many years and it's a great opportunity for me to come and play here for such a big club as Ipswich.

"I spoke to my friend, Bakary Sako at Wolverhampton and he said the football in England is fantastic with all the stadiums and the fans.
