Burnley youngster Alex Whitmore has joined Vanarama National League outfit Gateshead on a youth loan deal.
The 20-year-old defender, who played against the Heed while on loan at Chester in November, will remain with Neil Aspin's side until the summer.
Meanwhile goalkeeper Danijel Nizic is back at Turf Moor following the end of his loan spell at Crewe.
