Burnley are considering a second bid for Brentford centre-back James Tarkowski.
Sky sources reported earlier this week that the Clarets had an offer of £2.5m plus add-ons rejected for the 23-year old.
The defender refused to play in Friday's Championship clash between the two sides, which Burnley won 3-1, live on Sky Sports 1HD.
The Lancashire club have also put an offer on the table for Bees attacker Alan Judge, which is being considered by the Brentford board.
And Burnley manager Sean Dyche said: "There's been a conversation between the owners and maybe there will be [another bid for Tarkowski].
"I believe in the way our club goes about its business. It's a market we try to use in a sensible and respectful manner.
"If people decide to put things in the media then it's up to them. I don't speak to the media. But it's the transfer window. Players move clubs, deals get done. We lost three of our own in the summer."
