Burnley striker Chris Long joins Bolton on loan

Burnley striker Chris Long has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan for the rest of the season. 

Long, 21, had just returned from a loan spell at Fleetwood where he scored four times in 15 games.

Bolton boss Phil Parkinson said: "I am really pleased with the addition of Chris. He's a good young player and will add real pace to the team."

Long has made 11 first-team appearances for Burnley since signing from Everton in July, 2015.

Burnley have sent three other promising youngsters on loan.

Defender Alex Whitmore, 21, has re-joined Morecambe, where he spent the first half of the season, winger Josh Ginnelly has signed for Lincoln City and George Green has gone to Salford City.
