Rafael Benitez insists Sean Dyche has the experience to succeed at any Premier League club.
The Burnley boss has been linked with the vacancy at Everton after Ronald Koeman was sacked on Monday.
Speaking ahead of Newcastle's trip to Turf Moor on Monday, which is live on Sky Sports, Benitez said: "He is doing a great job. Obviously, they are doing well in the Premier League and to be there a couple of years means he has the experience you need to know exactly what is going on.
"Now that they have this experience in the Premier League it means they have an advantage and he is doing well.
"Can he go to another team and do well? I think so, he has proven he can do it."
Both sides are having a successful season in the Premier League. Newcastle are seventh ahead of the weekend fixtures while Burnley are just a point behind in eighth and Benitez is impressed with the team that Dyche has created.
"It is a team in his image. When you have a manager who has been there a while and he is trying to sign the players he wants, in the end you have a team that knows what to do and they know what the manager wants and I think it is an advantage, so they are doing well.
"They are well organised and they are in a good position in the table and they play with confidence so it always an advantage if you want to go and compete in every game."
