Burnley have announced that Richard Keogh has rejected the chance of signing for them.The club believed that they had found an agreement to bring the free-agent to the club.
However, the 18-year-old former Stoke man apparently had a change of heart, leaving the Turf Moor club red-faced.
"Richard Keogh will no longer be signing for Burnley Football Club as originally reported," read a statement from the club.
"The club understood that the 18-year-old wished to join but after further discussions with his agent an agreement could not be made.
"The club has decided not to pursue its interest."
