Norwich City manager Alex Neil has assured fans he does not expect to lose any more of his key players during summer's transfer window, including utility player Robbie Brady.
He claims the recent departure of Nathan Redmond to Southampton was "an exception to the rule" and pointed out that players such as Brady are happy at Carrow Road.
Brady enjoyed excellent performances with the Republic of Ireland, at the recent Euro 2016 finals in France, and Neil is not predicting an exodus of stars during the next few weeks.
Speaking on Friday, he said: "It's important we send the right message out: We are not going to be losing our best players. Nathan was an exception to the rule.
"Everyone's got a price but we won't be allowing players to walk out the door for less than we value them.
"The good thing is most of those who are out of contract are wanting to stay and wanting new contracts and it's on-going.
"Robbie's got three years left, I think. The bottom line is we don't need to do anything. We have had a couple of contacts asking about his availability but in terms of firm offers then 'no'.
"I don't think anybody is naive enough to think we need to keep our fingers crossed he stays here. It is going to be a case of, if people come in and offer the right money, we will have a look at it.
"But if they don't then the simple fact is he will be here and Robbie being the lad he is, and the player he is, he will go and attack the season.
"We are not trying to actively sell Robbie, by any means, and if he was here at the start of the season I would be delighted.
"Like anything else, every single player has a price, regardless of what club you are at.
"The simple fact is we're in control of the situation. And to be fair, they have all approached pre-season really well. I'm not having conversations with players who are telling me they're unhappy.
"But, to be honest, even if they are, unless somebody comes up with the right money they won't be going anywhere."
As for losing winger Redmond to Premier League club Southampton, who offered the Englishman a five-year deal, the Scotsman added: "Nathan's got huge potential and has gone through spells when he's enjoyed purple patches.
"And if he can get consistency in his game, he's got all the qualities for being a top player.
Unless somebody comes up with the right money, they won't be going anywhere.
"I think the time is right. He had a year left on his contract and with dropping down to the Championship, it made sense for both parties.
"Players want to play at the highest level they can. We spent much of last season trying to get him to negotiate and sign a new contract.
"It's not as though we left it and were caught short. We just weren't able to come to an agreement last season and extend his deal."
Regarding Norwich's chances in tier two of English football next season, Neil added: "We've just come down from the Premier League and we have a squad that will hopefully get us back there."
