Martin Olsson was shown a red card in less than 120 seconds after saving a goal with his hands in Norwich's defeat to Queens Park Rangers.
The full-back was penalised for denying Nedum Onuoha's attempts to scramble the ball over the line for QPR, who had Ian Holloway in charge for the first time since making his return as manager last week.
Despite Olsson's best efforts to conceal his goalkeeping exploits, the Swede was seemingly judged to have unfairly used his arms to block the ball going into the Norwich net, and was dismissed in just the second minute of the game.
The penalty had no impact on the scoreline in the end, with Tjaronn Chery hitting his spot kick wide of the post, though Olsson's red card did affect the outcome at Loftus Road.
Down to 10 men, Norwich struggled to cope with Holloway's enthusiastic side and ultimately lost 2-1 to their Sky Bet Championship opponents.
The result gives Holloway a winning return to QPR, though he may have Olsson to thank for the three points.
