Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink could not rule himself out of the running for the vacant QPR job

Burton Albion manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink refused to deny he is a candidate to take over at Queens Park Rangers.

The former Chelsea and Leeds striker is reportedly in contention to succeed the sacked Chris Ramsey at Loftus Road, but said he is only focused on League One Burton at present.

"I can't do anything about the speculation and people writing or talking about stories. It's that easy," said Hasselbaink.

"I can only make sure I am professional and honest to players. I give my all to them and the club and the board.

"I have no understanding for it, I am concentrating on Burton Albion. It's not relevant. I don't like to speculate. What will happen in the future will happen."
