Former Manchester United and West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison is training with Queens Park Rangers, according to Sky sources.

The 23-year-old moved to Italy just under a year ago but has not made an appearance for Lazio this season and is seeking a return to England.

He spent time training with Wigan Athletic earlier in the month after being invited to the club by his former United youth-team manager and current Latics boss Warren Joyce.

Rangers manager Ian Holloway is now running the rule over Morrison, who made 17 appearances on loan at Loftus Road between February and May 2014.

Morrison was tipped for a bright future in the game when he turned professional at Old Trafford at the age of 17 in February 2010.

But in January 2012 the player was sold by United to West Ham, who were then in the Championship, for an undisclosed fee.
