QPR agree deal to sign David Wheeler from Exeter

QPR have agreed an undisclosed fee with Exeter to sign winger David Wheeler, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News understands the 26-year-old will undergo a medical at Loftus Road on Wednesday ahead of signing a three-year deal with the Sky Bet Championship side.

Wheeler scored 21 goals in all competitions last season as Exeter reached the League Two play-off final at Wembley, where they were defeated 2-1 by Blackpool.

If all being well, Wheeler will become manager Ian Holloway's fifth signing of the summer.
