Queens Park Rangers midfielder Brandon Comley has joined Colchester on loan until January 14.
The 21-year-old, who has come through the youth system at Loftus Road, has been given permission to play in the FA Cup but will not be allowed to feature in the competition against QPR.
He has made three substitutute appearances for Rangers but is highly thought of by the club and recently signed a one-year extension to his current deal.
Comley spent much of last season on loan at Grimsby. He was previously on loan at Carlisle.
