Leicester City target Francesco Totti is on the verge of completing a move to NASL side New York Cosmos.
The Roma icon is out of contract at the end of the season and manager Luciano Spalletti has showed no indications that he wants to keep the Italian veteran on next season.
Claudio Ranieri had attempted to make contact with his compatriot last month by offering him a one-year deal at the King Power next season.
However, the 39-year-old is understood to be favouring a move to the States and has been in contact with the New York Cosmos, according to our colleagues at Sky Italia.
Should Totti opt to sign for the Cosmos, he would bring to an end a 24-year career with Roma.
