Leicester defender Luis Hernandez travelled to Malaga on Thursday to discuss a possible move to the La Liga side, according to Sky sources.
The 27-year-old was Leicester's first signing of last summer, following their sensational Premier League title win, and the versatile defender agreed a four-year-deal.
But the former Sporting Gijon man has only started two Premier League games this season for the Foxes and his last appearance was at Bournemouth on December 13.
Sky sources report that Malaga and Leicester are close to agreeing a fee for Hernandez, who has travelled to Spain to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms.
