Chelsea and Roma are interested in signing Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, according to Sky sources.
Both clubs may be in the market for new first choice goalkeepers - Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois and Roma's Alisson having been linked with possible summer moves.
The 31-year-old Schmeichel is a well-established Premier League performer and played a big part in Leicester's title win in 2015-16.
He showed his quality again on Sunday night at the World Cup, despite Denmark's eventual penalty shoot-out defeat to Croatia.
Schmeichel saved a Luka Modric penalty with just minutes left in extra-time and kept out two more spot kicks in the subsequent shoot-out, but Croatia still prevailed 3-2.
