Kieffer Moore somehow diverted Adam Hammill's cross inches wide of goal from about two yards out with the Leeds goal wide open in front of him

Barnsley's Kieffer Moore had a moment to forget as he squandered a glorious opportunity to level against Leeds in the Sky Bet Championship.

Paul Heckingbottom helped push his old club closer to relegation as his Leeds side beat Barnsley 2-1 at a sun-drenched Elland Road on Saturday.

But Leeds might have earned just a single point had Moore converted in the 78th minute.

With Leeds already 2-1 up, Adam Hammill squared the ball across the goalmouth for the former Rotherham striker to simply tap home from point-blank range, but he somehow managed to clear the danger instead.
