Nick Powell is unlikely to play for Hull City again this season after suffering a thigh injury during training.

The Manchester United loanee has missed the last five matches with a hamstring problem and has now suffered another injury concern.

Manager Steve Bruce said on Friday: "He re-injured himself on Tuesday when he was just stepping up his training with us for a second day.

"Unfortunately, he pulled a thigh. I don't think we'll see him again before the end of the season.

"Normally, you're looking at three or four weeks for an injury like this.

"We might be able to see him again and I wouldn't rule him out totally but it's going to be difficult given the way he went over.
