Hull City are closing in on the transfers of Porto midfielder Evandro Goebel and Everton striker Oumar Niasse.

The pair will undergo medical exams on Thursday, with Goebel set to sign on a permanent deal from Porto and Niasse to join on loan from Everton until the summer.

New Hull boss Marco Silva has stated his desire to add to his squad as he attempts to keep the club in the Premier League.

Niasse cost Everton £13.5m during last year's winter transfer window but has started just twice in the top flight and is yet to score.

The deal with Hull is a loan until the end of the season, when City will have the option to sign the player permanently.
