Hull City have confirmed centre-back Curtis Davies has been ruled out for eight weeks with a hamstring injury sustained in the FA Cup defeat to Fulham.
Davies, who captained the Tigers during the 2014-15 season, sustained the injury just eight minutes into Sunday's FA Cup tie at Craven Cottage.
Davies arrived at the KCOM in 2013 from Birmingham City in a £2.25 million deal, and has gone on to make 139 appearances for Hull over four seasons, including 22 in the league so far this campaign.
Hull agreed a deal to sign Inter Milan centre-back Andrea Ranocchia on loan on Monday, with the player due for a medical on Tuesday.
Hull sit 19th in the table, two points from safety and next face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
