Marco Silva has warned his Hull players not to underestimate Leicester ahead of their crucial Premier League clash on Saturday.

The Tigers travel to the King Power Stadium a transformed side under Silva and in the thick of the scrap at the bottom with a return of eight points from the six league games since the Portuguese manager's arrival.

Hull's improvement has been impressive when compared to the 13 points they had taken from the first 20 Premier League matches of the campaign.

However, Hull are still second-from-bottom two points from safety after the champions launched the post-Claudio Ranieri era with a rousing 3-1 victory over Liverpool on Monday evening.

Silva has warned his side they will have to halt the Foxes' new-found momentum immediately if they are to prosper.

"Every game we play is a big opportunity for us to take points and move up the table," the Portuguese said.

"We need to think game by game and right now we only think about Leicester on Saturday. They have had a change in management and when this happens there is normally a change in the performance of the team.

"We need to be ready for this situation, but what we really need to focus on is our own work and to do it to our best on the pitch."

The club has also announced that Hull youngster Max Sheaf is recovering at home after suffering a skull fracture during a game.

The 16-year-old midfielder was knocked unconscious in a clash of heads while playing for a Tigers XI against Kenyan side the SportPesa All Stars on Monday evening.

He was treated at length on the pitch before being taken to hospital, but is now continuing his recovery at home.

The incident came just weeks after first-team midfielder Ryan Mason underwent emergency surgery having fractured his skull in a collision with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
