Massimo Cellino says Leeds are unlikely to make any signings before the transfer deadline and remains committed to keeping the club's best players.

Leeds sold highly-rated right-back Sam Byram to West Ham United and brought in midfielder Toumani Diagouraga from Brentford during a busy week at Elland Road.

Manager Steve Evans confirmed after the Diagouraga signing that he had made two written offers for players and said: "When the president comes out of his meetings he'll be active on that. There's another one we're waiting to hear back from, but we're actively pursuing another couple."

But comments made by controversial owner Cellino suggest the club's transfer business may be complete for the current window.

"We are unlikely to make any signings before the transfer deadline on Monday," he told Sky Sports News HQ. "But we are committed to keeping our best players at the club."
