Fan's view - David Watkins, author of various Leeds United books
Expectation: Our summer business looks good, delivering a big centre back (Kyle Bartley) and an experienced goalkeeper (Rob Green) who should improve our porous defence, as well as a proven striker (Marcus Antonsson) and potential match winner (Kemar Roofe). Most Leeds fans hope for a top-six finish and Massimo Cellino has promised us money back on our season tickets if we don't achieve it!
Most important player: Chris Wood is key to this season. Arriving to great expectations last year with a £3m price tag he underachieved massively. He's promising us 20 goals this season.
Who will win the league? Newcastle United
Dark horse? Wolverhampton Wanderers
One Championship player you'd want to sign? Lewis Dunk
Ollie's prediction: 6th
These are my dark horses for the season. Well done, Mr Cellino - you've made your best-ever signing in Garry Monk. No one was applauding louder than me when he appointed Monk. He was a huge part of what Swansea achieved - he'll build an identity and a way of playing at Leeds United. It's what the fans deserve.
Sky Bet odds
It was a disappointing time at Elland Road last season as Leeds only managed a mid-table finish and it is now down to new boss Monk to get things moving in the right direction. They are 40/1 chances at Sky Bet to win the title and 10/1 to be promoted back to the top flight by any route.
