Burton will present Nigel Clough as their new manager at a Monday press conference, according to Sky sources.

Clough has agreed to return to the League One club almost seven years after his first 10-year spell as manager ended with a move to Derby.

The 49-year-old, out of work since he was sacked by Sheffield United in May, will succeed Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with Albion two points clear at the top of the table.

Hasselbaink left to become QPR boss after guiding the club to promotion last season and 13 wins from 20 this term.
