Alex Wynter and James Bransgrove have signed new contracts at Colchester.
Defender Wynter has penned a new two-year deal, while goalkeeper Bransgrove has committed himself to the Sky Bet League 2-bound U's for the next three years.
Wynter told Colchester's official website: "I'm pleased that I've signed a new deal, it gives me a bit of stability and allows me to concentrate fully on playing football.
"I enjoy it here, I enjoy coming into train every day, I like the place and the area so it was a perfect fit for me.
"We've got to look to bounce back but first we've got two games to play, games that we want to win and take into the new season."
Bransgrove said: "There's fierce competition for the goalkeeper spot but that means you have to push yourself every day to be better than the others.
"It's part of the job though, and only one of us can play - we all understand that and we all push each other.
"I know that if I play well in the Under-21s I will hopefully get the opportunity to play first-team football - that's how it works here and that makes you want to do well all the time."
