Northampton have signed winger Emmanuel Sonupe on a deal to the end of the season, the Sky Bet League One club have announced.
The 20-year-old former Tottenham youngster was with the Cobblers during pre-season and appeared in a number of friendlies as Rob Page's men prepare for life in the third tier following promotion.
Town boss Page told his club's website: "Emmanuel has pedigree behind him having come from Tottenham, and we know there is a young player with potential there.
"He is a little raw and is still learning, but he has trained with us every day, we have seen him improve and we think we have something to work with.
"We will work with him, we will develop him and we think he can develop into an asset for us."
Sonupe, an ex-England Under-18 international, made four substitute appearances in the Ladbrokes Premiership last season during a loan spell with St Mirren.
