Jack King makes loan move to Stevenage from Scunthorpe United

Stevenage have announced the signing of Jack King on loan from Scunthorpe.

A statement on the club's official website said the versatile player, who can play in central defence or midfield, will move to the Lamex Stadium until January.

The 31-year-old started his career in non-league before spending three years at Preston, helping the Lilywhites secure promotion to the Sky Bet Championship in 2015.

He joined Scunthorpe on a two-year deal at the start of last season but has struggled to become a mainstay in the side.
