Chris Wilder, Graham Alexander, Uwe Rosler and Stuart McCall are the nominees for April's Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month.

Wilder enjoyed a perfect month as Sheffield United won six successive matches on their way to claiming promotion to the Championship and the League One crown. The Blades, who secured the title with three matches to spare, finished the season with 100 points after victory over Chesterfield on the final day.

Alexander guided Scunthorpe to five wins in six as the Iron cemented their place in the play-offs. Scunthorpe, who are bidding to return to the Championship for the first time since 2010, ended the campaign in third place following victory over already-relegated Coventry and will face Millwall in the play-off semi-finals.

Rosler and Fleetwood missed out on the chance to secure automatic promotion on the final day of the season, with Bolton claiming second spot after victory over Peterborough. The Cod Army won four of their seven matches during April and will face Bradford in the play-off semi-finals as they aim to reach the Championship for the first time in their history.

McCall led Bradford to four wins in six ahead of their showdown with Fleetwood, with the Bantams finishing the campaign in fifth spot. Bradford, who have not played in England's second tier since 2004, picked up wins over Walsall, Bury, Oxford and Wimbledon.

Leon Clarke, Ricky Holmes, Mark Marshall and David Wheater are the nominees for April's Sky Bet League One Player of the Month.

Clarke enjoyed a purple patch in front of goal as Sheffield United claimed the League One title. The 32-year-old forward netted six times for the Blades, including a double against Bradford in a 3-0 win at Bramall Lane.

Holmes was once again amongst the goals during the month, scoring four times as Charlton enjoyed a strong end to the season. The 29-year-old midfielder was on target in victories over Southend, Gillingham, Chesterfield and Swindon, taking his overall tally to 13.

Marshall played a pivotal role as Bradford secured a place in the play-offs, rediscovering his early season form with a series of sparkling displays. The 29-year-old also found the back of the net in wins over Bury and Wimbledon.

Wheater proved himself an invaluable member of a Bolton defence that conceded just two goals in seven games in April. The 30-year-old centre-back also scored in each of Bolton's final two matches to take his tally to nine for the season.
