Yeovil have signed Carlisle midfielder James Bailey on a two-year deal.

Bailey, 28, turned down the offer of a new contract at Carlisle after his short-term deal expired.

"I want to thank everyone for their involvement in this signing," Yeovil boss Darren Way told the club's official website.

"I've been chasing James all summer and negotiations have been going on since the season finished, so to get him signed on and committed to the green and white cause is fantastic for the football club."

Bailey progressed through Crewe's academy and made over 50 appearances before moving on to Derby and then Barnsley.
