Sheridan elects to keep Tigers midfielder

Oldham Athletic have extended the loan of Hull City midfielder David Livermore for a further month. The 28-year-old, who can play in a variety of roles, arrived at Boundary Park on transfer deadline day after falling down Tigers boss Phil Brown's pecking order. Thus far in his time at the League One outfit, Livermore has made six starts and scored his first goal for the club in Tuesday night's draw with Swindon. Latics boss John Sheridan feels Livermore's versatility could prove useful over the next month. "Dave has been doing okay and we are still in with a shout of the play-offs, so I would like to keep him here," he told the Oldham Evening Chronicle. "He's an experienced player, which we are short of, and he has played in one or two different positions."
