Swansea have agreed a fee of around £2m with Ajax for defender Mike van der Hoorn, according to the player.
Van der Hoorn, 23, will travel to south Wales this week to discuss personal terms with Swansea ahead of a move to Francesco Guidolin's side.
He told reporters he was delighted with the chance to move to the Premier League, adding: "Swansea are a great club."
The former Dutch U21 international cost Ajax £3.2m when he moved from Utrecht three years ago.
Van der Hoorn would be Swansea's first signing of the summer, having sold forward Alberto Paloschi to Italian club Atalanta earlier this month.
