Paul Clement says he will speak to John Terry about a possible move to Swansea at the end of the season

Paul Clement will leave John Terry to his Stamford Bridge farewell before approaching him about a possible move to Swansea.

Clement worked with Terry during his time on the Chelsea coaching staff and has made no secret of his interest in bringing the Blues skipper to south Wales.

Terry started Monday's win over Watford and could be given one final start at the Bridge on Sunday as the champions host relegated Sunderland a week before the FA Cup final.

Swansea host West Brom on the same day, and ahead of that game Clement said: "I'm going to get this season done, and he's obviously got a lot on himself.

"There's a big game for him coming up at Stamford Bridge, the last game of season, and I'm sure he's going to get a wonderful send-off."

Asked if signing free agent Terry is a genuine possibility he said: "I'm not sure. I will have a conversation with him. I've known him a long time.
