Millwall have made a club-record bid in excess of £1.25m for Wolves winger Ben Marshall, according to Sky sources.
Marshall joined the Lions from Wolves on loan in January and helped them secure an eighth-place finish in the Sky Bet Championship - their highest league standing since 2002.
The 27-year-old, who has two years left on his deal at Wolves, scored three goals and provided six assists in 17 appearances for Neil Harris' side.
Sky Sports News understands Wolves are willing to sell Marshall following their promotion to the Premier League, with his preferred destination The Den.
Millwall's current record transfer fee has stood since 1989, when they signed forward Paul Goddard from Derby for £800,000.
Harris completed his first signing of the summer last week, with defender Murray Wallace arriving from Scunthorpe.
Mahlon Romeo and Sid Nelson also pledged their future to Millwall by signing new contracts, while Sky Sports News understands the club are close to securing Byron Webster to a new deal.
