Crewe have completed the signing of former Colchester midfielder David Fox.

The 31-year-old has been training during the summer with the Alex and has now penned a 12-month contract.

Earlier in the day, boss Steve Davis had told the club's official website: "David has a lot of experience and his attitude is great every day in training.

"His experience could help our young team."
