Gillingham have handed a trial to 26-year-old striker Moses Emmanuel, according to Sky sources.

The Lewisham-born forward, who can also play on the wing, scored 20 goals for Bromley in the National League last season.

It is understood that League Two sides Stevenage, Newport County and newly-promoted Grimsby have also expressed an interest.

Emmanuel previously played in the Football League in a two-year spell with Brentford, playing just eight times between 2008 and 2010.
