Bradford City have signed defender Joe Riley from Manchester United on a two-year deal, the League One club have announced.
The 21-year-old, who was handed his senior debut in 2016 by Louis Van Gaal against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup, has featured twice for United's first team.
Riley also has experience of playing in League One having spent time on loan with Sheffield United in 2017.
Bradford's head of recruitment Greg Abbott said: "Joe has been on our list of potential signings for a long time now. He ticks a lot of boxes in terms of the way the club wants to go and he really fits the model.
"He was well thought of at Manchester United and he was very unlucky during a loan spell at Sheffield United. He was flying at the time but unfortunately got a shoulder injury.
"He has bags of pace and energy, he is a forward-thinking, attacking full-back. Joe has always been high up on our list for that position."
Bradford are currently without a head coach following the departure of Simon Grayson, who opted to turn down the option to extend his short-term deal at the club.
