Robbie Stockdale will not be getting the Bradford City manager's job.
Sky Sports News understands Stockdale had two interviews for the post but he is no longer in the running.
Bradford owner Edin Rahic has told Sky Sports News the club remain in talks with several candidates but no decision is close to being made.
Former Rangers, Nottingham Forest and Brentford boss Mark Warburton and ex-Leeds and Barnsley manager Paul Heckingbottom have already dropped out of the race, Sky Sports News understands.
Bradford are looking for a new manager after Simon Grayson left at the end of his contract last month.
Stockdale was first-team coach at Sunderland under Sam Allardyce and then Chris Coleman.
