Rotherham have extended the loan of Tottenham midfielder Grant Ward until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has been a key figure for the Millers in the Sky Bet Championship since signing on a temporary contract last summer.

Ward, who has yet to make a first-team appearance at Spurs, has featured 27 times for Rotherham this term and boss Neil Redfearn has now secured his services for another three months.

"It's taken a bit longer to get done but I'm very happy to have extended my loan until the end of the season," Ward told Rotherham's official website.

"Since the gaffer has come in I've started more games and that's important and I'm starting to see the progression in my career which I need at my age.
