Cambridge are again without midfielder Conor Newton as they host struggling York in Sky Bet League Two. The 24-year-old has missed the last five games with a back problem.

Striker Karlan Ahearne-Grant is no longer available having returned to Charlton at the end of his one-month loan.

Defender Shane O'Neill, on loan from Apollon Limassol, is still hoping to make his debut but Barry Corr (knee) and Greg Taylor (ankle) are out for the season.

York are likely to travel with an unchanged squad and boss Jackie McNamara may even want to select an unchanged team.

McNamara's men recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season on Tuesday night with a 2-0 home victory against Exeter, keeping a first clean sheet in League Two since the start of September in the process.

Jake Hyde was given a surprise first start since August after recovering from his groin problems and lasted 57 minutes before making way for Luke Summerfield, although it remains to be seen if the striker can manage two matches so close together.
