Crawley have released Andy Bond, Lee Barnard, Roarie Deacon, Lyle Della-Verde and Callum Preston and are in talks with nine other out-of -contract players.

Dermot Drummy was appointed head coach last month following the departure of Mark Yates and assistant Jimmy Dack and is in the process of reshaping the squad he inherited.

"I have only been with the club for a couple of weeks but the attitude of all the players has been first-class and I wish the five lads who have been released all the best for the future and thank them for their efforts at the club," Drummy told the club's official website.

"We have a further nine players who are out of contract, some of whom have already gone on holiday, so discussions will take place with them in the near future and announcements made then."

Loan players Jack Rose, Liam McAlinden, Charles Dunne, Frankie Sutherland and Josh Yorwerth have all returned to their respective parent clubs.
