Dagenham & Redbridge have signed Elliot Justham following his release by Luton.

Meanwhile, fellow goalkeeper Mark Cousins has extended his stay with the Hatters by signing a new contract.

Both players have put pen to paper on two-year deals and will compete for the number one jersey ahead of the 2016/17 season.

Daggers boss John Still told the club's official website: "I took Elliot to Luton from East Thurrock United after getting good reviews about him. He worked very hard to get into the Luton first team and it was only because of an injury that he lost his place whilst I was there.

"He's a Romford lad and I rate him very highly. This deal was not one I was expecting to make but once he became available and wanted to join Dagenham I moved fast to sign him.

"It's great to have two good goalkeepers competing for the starting spot which will help both them and the team going forwards."

On Cousins, Still added: "Mark produced some good displays this season which impressed me. Our goalkeeping coach, Jim Stannard, also thinks a lot of him.
