Barnsley striker Shaun Tuton has joined Sky Bet League Two side Grimsby on loan for the rest of the season.

Tuton, 24, has made seven first-team appearances for Barnsley since joining from Halifax in February when he signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

"It's a good move for Shaun," Barnsley head coach Paul Heckingbottom told the club's official website.

"At this stage in his career he needs to be playing regular first-team football and this move should allow him to do just that.
