Hartlepool have added to their attacking options with the loan signing of Sunderland forward Mikael Mandron.
The 21-year-old has made three Premier League appearances for the Black Cats and has previously spent time out on loan at Fleetwood and Shrewsbury.
He joins Ronnie Moore's side until January 2 and will go straight into the squad for Sunday's Sky Bet League 2 clash with Leyton Orient.
"He's a powerful lad and he gives us another option up there," Moore said of Mandron.
"We're pleased that Sunderland have allowed him to come here and hopefully the move can be beneficial to the player and both clubs."
