Swindon Town have suspended Drissa Traore, Jeremy Balmy and Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill with immediate effect.

The League 1 club have acted after the trio were seen allegedly inhaling nitrous oxide - better known as laughing gas - and smoking a shisha pipe in a video published on social media.

The video appeared a day after Swindon's 2-0 defeat at Oldham on Tuesday.

A club statement read: "The club have already started an internal investigation into the trio's recent conduct and they will not be considered for selection during this process.

"Swindon Town will be making no further comment until the investigation is complete."

Defender Ormonde-Ottewill played the full 90 minutes against the Latics at Boundary Park, but Balmy was an unused substitute and his fellow midfielder Traore did not feature in the matchday 18.
